Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: May 7, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets forth the rules and guidelines for using aio.fm, operated by aiofm. This policy supplements our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy in its entirety. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.
1. Purpose
aio.fm is an AI content creation platform that enables users to generate images, videos, and other media using artificial intelligence. Because AI generation technology is powerful and can be misused, this policy exists to:
- Protect our users, platform, and the broader community from harm
- Prevent illegal, unethical, or abusive uses of AI generation technology
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain trust with our users, partners, and AI generation providers
2. Absolutely Prohibited Content — Zero Tolerance
The following content is strictly and unconditionally prohibited. These rules apply regardless of context, artistic intent, or claimed purpose. Violations result in immediate permanent account termination, forfeiture of all credits and content, and reporting to law enforcement where applicable:
2.1 Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
Any sexually explicit, suggestive, or exploitative content depicting minors (anyone under 18 years of age). This includes:
- Realistic AI-generated imagery of minors in sexual situations
- Stylized, cartoon, or anime depictions of minors in sexual situations
- "Aged up" depictions of characters who are canonically minors
- Any content that sexualizes youth, school settings, or other contexts associated with minors
We have a legal and moral obligation to report suspected CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities.
2.2 Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII)
AI-generated intimate, sexual, or nude imagery depicting real, identifiable people without their explicit, documented, verifiable consent. This includes:
- Deepfakes of real people in sexual or intimate contexts
- "Face-swapping" real people's likenesses onto sexual content
- Revenge pornography, whether real or AI-generated

Content that:
- Promotes, recruits for, or incites terrorism or violent extremist acts
- Glorifies, celebrates, or provides instructional material for mass violence
- Depicts graphic real-world violence for the purpose of shock, intimidation, or recruitment
2.4 Illegal Content
Any content that violates applicable federal, state, local, or international law. You are responsible for understanding the laws that apply in your jurisdiction.

- Creating content that dehumanizes, degrades, or promotes stereotypes of any group

- Using the Service to create counterfeit goods, knockoff merchandise, or infringing derivative works

3.6 Spam and Commercial Abuse
- Using the Service to generate bulk unsolicited content for spam campaigns
- Automated mass-generation of content for SEO manipulation, comment spam, or social media flooding
- Reselling, sublicensing, or providing unauthorized third-party access to the Service
4. Content Responsibility and Legal Compliance
You are solely and entirely responsible for all content you create, upload, store, or distribute through aio.fm. You must ensure that your content complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
4.1 Content Requirements
- All depicted characters must be adults: Any characters depicted in mature or sensitive contexts must be clearly and unambiguously adult (18+). When in doubt, err on the side of making characters obviously adult in appearance and context.
- No real people without consent: Content depicting real, identifiable people in sensitive, intimate, or compromising contexts requires their explicit, documented consent. This includes public figures, celebrities, and influencers.
- No illegal acts: Content must not depict acts that are illegal under applicable law.
- Provider compliance: You must comply with the content policies of the underlying AI generation provider. Some providers have their own content restrictions — violating them may result in the provider terminating your access.
- Jurisdiction compliance: Laws regarding AI-generated content, obscenity, and digital media vary significantly worldwide. You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with the laws that apply to you. We do not provide legal advice.
4.2 Content You Publish or Distribute
You bear full responsibility for how you publish, distribute, or share content created through the Service. This includes compliance with platform rules on any site where you post the content, age verification requirements, content labeling obligations, and any other applicable regulations.
5. AI Generation Rules
When using AI generation features on aio.fm, you agree to:
- No prohibited content generation: Not attempt to generate any content that falls under the prohibited categories in Section 2 or Section 3 above
- No filter circumvention: Not attempt to circumvent, bypass, or trick content safety filters, moderation systems, or other safety measures — whether ours or the AI provider's
- Disclosure of AI content: When publishing AI-generated content externally, not present it as authentic photography, real footage, or non-AI content in contexts where the distinction matters (news, evidence, testimony)
- Review before publishing: Review AI-generated content before publishing or distributing it, as AI may produce unintended artifacts, biases, or inappropriate outputs
- Accept AI limitations: Understand that AI generation is imperfect, may produce unexpected results, and may occasionally generate content that does not match your intent
6. API Key Usage (BYOK)
If you use the Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) feature:
- You must only use API keys that belong to you or that you have explicit authorization to use
- You must not use stolen, leaked, shared, or fraudulently obtained API keys
- You must not share your aio.fm account to allow others to use your API keys
- You are responsible for all content generated using your API keys and all costs incurred
- You must comply with the terms of service and acceptable use policies of your API key provider
- If your API provider restricts certain content types, you must respect those restrictions regardless of what aio.fm permits
7. Account Responsibilities
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and do not share access with others
- Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, bans, or usage limits
- Do not attempt to access other users' accounts, data, or generated content
- Do not abuse the Service infrastructure through automated scraping, bots, denial of service attacks, or intentional excessive load
