Terms of Service

Last updated September 25, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Volgenic website and service at volgenic.com (the "service"), provided by Volgenic ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the service for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm that you have the authority to do so.

Early access

The service is in early access. Features may change, break or be removed, and access is by invitation only. We may limit, suspend or end access to the service at any time.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. You must give accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Workspaces

Workspace owners control who can access a workspace and its content. If you join a workspace, its owner can see what you add to it and may remove your access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using the service;
  • access accounts, systems or data you are not authorized to use;
  • interfere with or overload the service, or test it for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
  • upload malware or content you do not have the right to share;
  • use the service to build, deploy or run software that harms others;
  • resell or share access to the service without our permission;
  • copy, reverse engineer or build a competing product from the service, except where the law allows it.

Your content

You keep all rights to the content and code you bring to the service. You give us permission to host, copy, process and display it only as needed to provide and secure the service. You confirm that you have the rights needed to give us that permission.

Builds, deployments and coding agents

The service can build and deploy software, and run coding agents that change code on your behalf. You decide what to build, deploy and merge. You are responsible for reviewing changes, for the software you deploy, and for the systems and credentials you connect to the service.

Artificial intelligence output

Summaries, release notes, code and other output written by language models can be incomplete or wrong. Review output before relying on it. You own the output created for you, to the extent the law allows.

Third-party services

The service works with third-party services such as GitHub, Google and language model providers. Your use of them is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

Fees

The service is currently free. If we introduce fees, we will tell you before they apply, and you can stop using the service instead of paying them.

Our service

We own the service, including its software, design and branding. These terms do not give you any rights to them except to use the service as described here. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

Ending your use

You may stop using the service and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering the service. Where we can, we will give you notice and a chance to export your content first. Sections that by their nature should continue after your use ends, including those on content, disclaimers, liability and disputes, continue to apply.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that content will not be lost. Keep your own copies of important content and code.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or $100.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your content, the software you build or deploy with the service, or your breach of these terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the service or these terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify account holders before the changes take effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the updated terms.

General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the service. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest remains in effect. If we do not enforce a term, we have not waived it. You may not transfer these terms without our permission; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
